The MOGLabs PDA030 is an amplified silicon photodetector designed for demanding low-noise applications such as Pound-Drever-Hall optical cavity locking. It provides high bandwidth, high quantum-efficiency and low noise photodetection in a convenient mechanical enclosure with industry-standard connectors.
The 50Ω impedance signal is provided via a BNC connector that is isolatetd to help eliminate ground loops via the optical table. Power is easily provided via a Thorlabs-compatible M8 connector, including directly from the MOGLabs FSC fast servo controller. Optical tubes, filters and lenses are easily mounted using the standard SM1 threaded ring.
Also available with an InGaAs photodiode for the wavelengths in the range 800 – 1700nm, details available on request.
